Sandra has been an Inspector for the Health and Safety Executive for 20 years, inspecting and investigating health and safety matters in many different industries including manufacturing, health, local authorities and construction. As well as being an inspector Sandra has also provided policy support as the construction safety lead for fire in construction and lately on the Building Safety Programme.

Sandra is part of the HSE team responsible for the delivery of the new Building Safety Regulator as lead for Transitions and Multi-disciplinary team working. In this role, Sandra works collaboratively with partner regulators to develop the operational procedures and roles needed to deliver the regulator’s new functions.
